What the service isThe paid plan of Tiltnote (Japanese name: トレ感情日記), a journal app for recording your trades and how you felt, and looking back on them. It has no limit on the period you can analyze and includes automatic recording from MT4/MT5. We do not give investment advice, make trading decisions for you, or promise profits.
Without the paid plan, you can still log trades by hand or by CSV on the free plan. For the first 14 days after you start, you can try every analysis feature free; after that, the free plan shows analysis, the calendar and history for the last 2 weeks only (see Article 4 of the Terms of Use).
PriceWeb version: in Japan, 600 yen per month or 5,000 yen per year (tax included). In the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, 9.99 US dollars per month or 79.99 US dollars per year. The paid plan of the web version is not sold in other countries and regions (we determine the country from where you connect). The yearly plan is available only in the web version.
Android version: in Japan, 600 yen per month (tax included). Outside Japan, 9.99 US dollars per month in the United States and, in other countries and regions, the price shown on the Google Play purchase screen (tax treatment in each country follows what Google Play shows).
From April 1, 2027, the Japanese yen prices will change to 980 yen per month and 8,000 yen per year (both tax included). If you subscribe by March 31, 2027, you keep your current price for as long as your subscription does not end through cancellation or a failed payment (this also applies if you subscribed through Google Play). If you subscribe again after your subscription has ended, the price at that time applies.
The amounts shown are the amounts you pay.
Other chargesYour internet connection fees. When you pay in a foreign currency, your card company may charge a currency conversion fee.
Payment methodsWeb version: the methods offered on the payment page of Stripe, our payment provider (for example, credit card). Android version: Google Play billing.
When you payYou pay the first charge when you sign up. After that, you are charged automatically on each renewal date: every month for the monthly plan, and every year for the yearly plan.
When the service startsRight after your payment is completed (usually within one minute).
Contract period and automatic renewalThe monthly plan renews automatically every month, and the yearly plan (web version) every year. It continues until you cancel; there is no end date. For reference, one year on the 600 yen monthly plan costs 7,200 yen (600 yen x 12 months).
How to cancelWeb version: you can cancel yourself on the page (Stripe’s customer page, which you enter through a link sent to your registered email) that opens from “Manage or cancel paid plan” in the app’s Settings. You can also email contact@tiltnote.com from the email address you registered with and tell us you want to cancel (no phone call or paperwork needed). Android version: cancel under “Subscriptions” in Google Play.
Returns, cancellation and refunds

Cancelling: If you cancel before your next renewal date, you will not be charged again. After you cancel, you can keep using the paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee or penalty.

Refunds: We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind. This includes cancelling in the middle of a billing period (no pro-rated refunds) and cancelling right after you sign up. Nothing in this disclosure or in our Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under laws that cannot be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Our mistakes and faults: If you were charged by mistake, such as being charged twice, we will refund the incorrect charge. If the service has a fault, we will fix it or, where the law requires, give you a refund or other remedy. Contact us at contact@tiltnote.com.

How long you can use the plan after a refund: In the web version, if we refund the full price of a yearly plan at your request, the paid plan ends on the day of the refund. In that case we also cancel the subscription, so it does not renew and you are not charged again. If we refund because of our own mistake (such as a double charge), or refund a monthly charge or part of a charge, you can keep using the paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. In that case the subscription continues and, unless you cancel, renews as usual on the next renewal date. Refunds in the Android version follow Google Play’s rules.

Cooling-off: Japanese law has no cooling-off period for mail-order and online sales, and the statutory rules on returning goods do not apply to this digital service.

System requirementsWeb version: a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or a similar browser. Android version: as shown on Google Play. Automatic recording from MT4/MT5: MT4/MT5 on a Windows PC.

For the conditions of using the service, see the Terms of Use.

Revision history
October 24, 2026: In “How long you can use the plan after a refund”, we added that when we fully refund a yearly plan at your request, we also cancel the subscription so that it does not renew and you are not charged again, and that the subscription continues after a refund for our own mistake and the other refunds listed there (this describes how refunds already work; nothing has changed). We list revisions here from this date (before this, we showed only the date of the last update).
